Student Success
Chloe Pettit

I joined Saldance at 9 years old, starting with one class a week in Musical Theatre. The studios quickly became my second home as I also began classes in Tap, Jazz/Theatre Craft and Ballet.
Over my 9 years as part of the Saldance family, I completed numerous individual and group exams as well as performing in many of the annual shows. I was also given the amazing opportunity to host The Talent Show – twice!
The skills and knowledge I learnt at Saldance supported me in my education, giving me the opportunity to study Performing Arts at De Montfort University, where I graduated with a first class honours degree.
Since leaving University, I have continued my love for Performing Arts by choreographing for local shows and performing with the Peterborough Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS).
I am very grateful for the confidence Saldance has given me, turning me from the quiet girl standing at the back of the Musical Theatre class to a soon to be trainee teacher! If it wasn’t for the dedication and support of the wonderful teachers at Saldance Theatre Arts, I wouldn’t be where I am today and I certainly wouldn’t be who I am today.
