Sam Maxwell

During my time at Saldance, I studied tap, ballet, freestyle and musical theatre. I had lots of wonderful opportunities while at Saldance from performing in amazing shows, taking dance exams for the respective subjects and I was lucky enough to even be nominated for the international theatre dance awards for tap and definitely couldn’t have done it without the wonderful teachers.

When I started, I was really nervous but thanks to Miss Nicola, Miss Kym, Miss Rhoda and Auntie Sue, I felt right at home. All of the teachers supported me and did all they could to help me achieve the very best and I always knew that if I was having a bad day, going to dance would cheer me up. I am now off to study performing arts at the University of East London and will hopefully go on to work within the entertainment business and possibly teach dance myself.
